About
Alocasia amazonica 'Polly' is a highly popular dwarf cultivar selection of the artificial hybrid Alocasia × amazonica (a cross between Alocasia sanderiana and Alocasia watsoniana). It is universally loved for its dramatic, highly geometric foliage. The arrow-shaped (sagittate) leaves feature deeply scalloped wavy margins, and display a glossy, dark forest-green to near-black surface. This dark backdrop is brilliantly contrasted by bold, raised silver-white primary veins and margins, making it an iconic statement plant.

- For named sports (Polly, Bambino, Venom), confirm the leaf texture/size matches the specific named form
- Check the corm/base is firm, not soft or foul-smelling
