Mayari is a Filipino-origin mutation of Scindapsus pictus notable for how stable its variegation is compared to many chimeric Scindapsus sports — creamy half-moon shapes and sectoral spots sit reliably over the species' characteristic silver-dashed dark green blade, generation after generation. The base silver dashing (a genuine iridescence, not painted-on variegation) remains visible in the green areas even where the cream sectoring covers part of the leaf, giving Mayari real depth compared to flatter variegation patterns.
