About
Alocasia rugosa, commonly known as Alocasia Melo, is an extraordinary jewel Alocasia species endemic to Borneo. It is celebrated for its unique, extremely thick, card-like leaves that feel like rough cardboard or melon skin. The leaves have a deeply corrugated, rugose surface with a striking blue-grey to dark forest-green matte coloration. The venation is deeply set, which gives it its highly textured, rocky appearance.
