About
Alocasia brancifolia, commonly known as Hand-leaf Alocasia, is a striking species native to the Maluku Islands of Indonesia. It is highly distinguished by its deeply divided, pinnatisect leaves that split into narrow, pointed lobes along the central midrib, giving it a palm-like or fern-like appearance. The leaves are glossy and bright green. The petioles are highly decorative, exhibiting leopard-like brown and green mottled banding that extends from the base to the leaf junction.
